Verse 5 of Analects of Confucius Chapter 14

English: Confucius said:"A virtuous person, acts on his promise but a person who acts on his promise may not be virtuous. A person who is benevolent may have courage, but a person who have courage may not be benevolent."

Modern: 孔子说：“有品德的人，说到做到，而说到做到的人，不一定有品德。有仁德的人，必定有勇气，但有勇气的人，不一定有仁德。”

Original: 子曰：“有德者必有言，有言者不必有德。仁者必有勇，勇者不必有仁。”
