English: Nan Rong always recite 'White Jade'(1) three times daily to remind himself the prudence of speech. Confucius married his elder brother's daughter to him(2).
Modern: 南容每天再三反复诵读《诗·大雅·抑》篇的诗句，借以警戒自己，谨言慎行，使自己的品德像白圭一样清白无暇。孔子把哥哥的女儿嫁给他。
