English: Confucius said:"Those disciples that accompany me to the State of Chen and State of Cai, no longer follows me." Known for virtuous conduct: Yan Yuan, Min Zi Jian, Ran Bo Niu, Zhong Gong. Known for conducting great speeches: Zai Wo, Zi Gong. Known for political matters: Ran You, Ji Lu. Known for literary works pursuits: Zi You, Zi Xia.

Modern: 孔子说：“跟随我到陈国、蔡国的学生都已不在门下。” 以德行著称：颜渊、闵子骞、冉伯牛、仲弓。以能言善辩著称：宰我、子贡。以政事著称：冉有、季路。以文学著称：子游、子夏。
