Verse 19 of Analects of Confucius Chapter 8
English: Confucius said:" Great indeed was Yao(1) as a lord! The heaven is that great and only Yao can match up to it! People has no words to describe the great deeds he has done. How magnificent his accomplishment were! How glorious his cultural pursuits were!"
Modern: 孔子说：“多么伟大啊！尧帝！多么崇高！只有上天最伟大，也只有尧帝能效法。尧的恩惠真是博大浩荡呀！百姓找不到恰当的词语来称颂赞美他。伟大呵他的事业；光辉呵他的礼乐法度。”
Original: 子曰：“大哉尧之为君也！巍巍乎！唯天为大，唯尧则之，荡荡乎，民无能名焉。巍巍乎其有成功也，焕乎其有文章！”
