Verse 19 of Analects of Confucius Chapter 14

English: Zhuan, an official in the family of Gong Shu Wen Zi⁽¹⁾ was promoted along with Wen Zi. Hearing of it, Confucius said:"Indeed he deserve the posthumous title of 'Wen'⁽²⁾."

Modern: 公叔文子^(一)的家臣僎跟文子一同升为大臣。孔子听见，说：“文子可以用‘文’^(二)为谥号。”

Original: 公叔文子之臣大夫僎与文子同升诸公。子闻之，曰：“可以为‘文’矣！”
