Verse 16 of Analects of Confucius Chapter 11

English: Ji Kang Zi is richer than Emperor Zhou, yet Ran Qiu gathered more for him. Confucius said:"He is no disciple of mine, you may scold or denounce him."

Modern: 季康子比周公富有，而冉求还替他聚敛钱财，追随与帮助他。孔子说：“冉求不是我学生，你们可以大张旗鼓地声讨他。”

Original: 季氏富于周公，而求也为之聚敛而附益之。子曰：“非吾徒也，小子鸣鼓而攻之可也。”
