English: Confucius said:"As far as the rites and music are concerned, the first people to use them were rustics while those who adopt them later were gentlemen. When it comes to putting the rites and music to use, I follow the former.'

Modern: 先进一辈，从礼乐方面讲，像是朴野人。后进一辈，从礼乐方面讲，真像君子了。但若用到礼乐的话，我还是愿从先进一辈。
